This unit was on coursework and materials. We discussed the benefits and disadvantages of using textbooks and workbooks in the class. If used properly, they can assist both the teacher and the students without removing the quality. Coursework can become a guideline to help students and teachers stay organized and on a general course. Teachers from that point can choose to either stay on course or veer off for more of a targeted lesson, specified for the students. These materials can also allow room for laziness for both the students and the teacher. A heathy balance is needed to keep the class interested while providing an array of materials for the teacher to choose from.
