This unit gave me the summarised information about Passive Voice, Modals and their usage and some basic information about Phrasal verbs. It is important to understand the difference between the degrees of formalities. Some of them are very similar and can cause confusion within the students. I often use role-plays and traffic signs to teach modal verbs and their shades of meaning. Phrasal verbs are indeed of the most confusing topics in the English language, especially Transitive and Intransitive verbs. The best way to learn them is as vocabulary items.
