This unit covers a lot of how a lesson plan should be made and how it can assist with the flow of the lesson. It also uses the Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) method in the lesson planning to showcase how a teaching technique can be applied to the formation of a lesson plan. The example of the lesson plan is useful in showing how lesson plans can be structured and how they can be used to plan out the flow of the lesson without being overly strict or restrictive.
