If we don’t have a lesson plan, lesson might be not organised. On the other hand , lesson might be rigid and not flexible if we depends on the lesson plan too much. The good thing that I learn a lesson from this unit it that a lesson plan is not a script. As a new teacher like me, I better have a lesson plan because of three reasons as follow. First, a lesson plan is to help planning my lesson logically. Secondly, a lesson plan is a working document. Lastly, a lesson plan is a record which is useful when another teacher has to cover me or I prepare for evaluation. A lesson plan should have learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems for the students and the teacher, procedure, phase,timing, interation, class level, number of students and date and time.
