This unit covered the basics of how to teach new language. Teaching vocabulary, teaching grammar, and teaching language functions were all covered. Vocabulary and grammar are self explanatory, but I learned that language functions are things such as agreeing, disagreeing, suggesting, inviting, and refusing. The common key points in teaching grammar and vocabulary were: meaning, use, and how to write and say it. Vocabulary also included word grammar and interaction with other words, and grammar included forms and patterns, as well as any casual spoken usage.
