This unit discussed how to create an effective lesson plan. A major point I took away is that everyone has their own style of lesson planning, but more inexperienced teachers are advised to write down more complete notes for themselves. A lesson plan should be a living document to help guide the teacher and serve as a record for the future. A lesson plan should include such info as the language point being taught, necessary teaching aids, possible problems and solutions to those problems, procedure, phase, timing, etc.
