This was difficult! As I think I mentioned in other reflections, the fact that verbs have up to 12 forms is hard to fully grasp as a native speaker. I'm constantly learning and relearning the terminology for things I instinctively know. Still, I'm glad I'm learning it and it feels like it's beginning to stick. I'm using my Bedford Handbook to help me with the holes I have, and with the lack of definitions this lesson gives for the past tense forms. The most useful part of this lesson is the ability I gained to be able to explain the difference between past simple, past perfect, past continuous, and past perfect continuous.
