Unit 3 introduecs a set of EFL teaching theories and methodlogies, particularly lesson planning centered on the ESA method - Engage, Study, Activate. A normal lesson typically starts with the Engage phase, where teachers ogranize participatory activities to pique students' interests. Following the warm-up, the Study phase is when teachers introduces new learning material and corrects students' previous errors. Finally, in the Activate phase, teachers should encourage students to use the material just learned and apply it through practice.
