Things that seem normal are not to an English second language student. With English as a first language saying things comes natural. This includes using the mouth to produce different sounds and stress and intonation when speaking. Now explain that to a student learning English. This unit covers that and includes the International Phonemic Alphabet (IPA) which I had never looked at before. The IPA helps teachers help students to produce sound in English. This unit was a fun, learning experience.
