I found this unit to be extremely challenging and also very interesting. The section on the phonemic alphabet was difficult to master and I needed the help of my parents, who are English language specialists before I could really get to grips with it. This unit has given me a real insight into the challenges of pronunciation, stress and intonation for students learning English.I feel that I have learnt completely new knowledge regards the English language and look forward to learning to teach it!
