In this unit, we first divided all tenses into 3 main categories: past, present and future; and for each category, we have 4 subtypes. In this unit, we learnt about the present tense: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, present perfect continuous. This unit sums up all the usages of each tense, and provides me with some teaching methods, especially for activate phase. For example, when teaching present simple, we can ask students to talk about their daily routines. For present perfect, the game is very smart: we can ask some students to go out of the classroom and the rest change the room's decorations or layout. When the students come back, they can ask what have been done. I think the game is very interesting. Especially for YLs, they may have fun trying the guessing game and they may also feel a sense of accomplishment when they know the rights answers.
