I have learned that there are a lot of ways to teach ESL. These methods can all be used to some extent, but they should be used as part of the Engage - Study - Activate method, which is the preferred way to teach ESL. The level of the students is going to largely determine what methods you use in each section of ESA. I did not know that errors and mistakes were different things, and this will help me in better assessing the student that I am currently tutoring.
