This unit definitely approached a difficult aspect of teaching English to none native English speakers. Each language and dialect of a language has its own pronunciation and intonations that are primarily learned through exposure. I agree that it is something that needs to be hit on when teaching English. All of the technical things in this unit were interesting but explaining the position of the mouth and further complicated things with the phonetic alphabet could be complicated. I feel that this lesson is good for helping the teacher understand how their own pronunciation works and then trying to think of ways to best get that information across to their students.
In the end, the best way to learn pronunciation is listening to people speak naturally and emulating them.
