Unit 14 deals with the different types of course material, and what they are best suited for. Authentic materials - such as newspaper, journal articles, etc. - are geared toward a particular group of students, most of them are already advanced in their level. In contrast, created materials are best suited for beginners, in which the teacher is able to adapt the vocabulary to the students' level. It is crucial for us to be flexible in our lesson plans to see which course material should be used.
