This unit covers how to teach new vocabulary, grammar and language function. It gives ideas on how to plan lessons for the above three things using the Straight Arrow, Boomerang and Patchwork ESA lesson structures. Included are examples activities that can be used in the lessons. These are divided up under the Engage, Study and Activate phases of a lesson. This unit solidified my knowledge of each phase of the different methods to teach vocab, grammar and function and increased my ideas for activities to use.
