Unit One: Teachers and Learners, has provided me with intricate information about what it really means to be a 'good'teacher and the roles of being as such. The teacher roles have been laid out remarkably, together with the common mistakes teachers might enact unknowingly. These roles are detrimental to succeeding at teaching, and I look forward to maintaining them whilst teaching after completing this TEFL course.
It has also provided a brief yet conclusive list of language levels along with the Common European Framework level list, which will prove beneficial in my future teaching endeavors, specially when working with various level of English in one classroom.
Moreover, the unit has empowered me with information regarding learners and what to expect from them, whether they are adults, teenagers, or even preschoolers. I have worked with primary age students as well as preschoolers, and with the help of this unit, I see myself bettering the experience of my future students along with my professional experience in teaching young learners and adults.
