Through these two videos I once again realised how important the engage stage is. In the first video a teacher skipped the appropriate engage stage and started asking some questions to students. Thus students were embarrassed and some were distracted. However, a teacher in the second video started with introduction so he could make a rapport with new students. Until the end of the second lesson, a teacher checked sometimes his students calling with their name and students also participated well with other students. In send on lesson a teacher did a class in accordance with his lesson plan and materials were ready. A teacher’s attitude iin the second video was more professional. He didn‘t touch his smartphone and used his handkerchief for his runny nose.
In the first lesson a teacher made a mistake of no using apostrophe when he made a negative modal verb. Later he corrected himself but he didn’t tell the class about it. In second class a teacher put an apostrophe and gave more detailed explanation about ‘you’? The second lesson was very ideal lesson.
