I found this the hardest unit so far; probably because I had had a long gap since my last study time and I think it was the first unit that linked to previous modules(with practice comparing the present and past tenses). I really need to concentrate on learning the usages of these tenses. I am amazed at how much detail this course provides in teaching grammar and also I realize more and more the amount of English usage I had never really thought about. It's interesting to realize that I must have learned English, both spoken and written, through everyday usage and although I think that I use good grammar I did not really know the rules. I could recognize speech patterns that were wrong but did not realize why they were.
