I thought this unit was very interesting because a lot of my friends ask me how to pronounce words properly and I am always at a loss. I try to use my own mouth as an example by slowing down the pronunciation, but that never works and now I know why. I see myself referring back to this lesion when creating my own lesson plans. I think having a small section per class that focuses just on pronunciation will be super beneficial to my students. Using phonemic symbols seems like a really easy and effective way to teach pronunciation.
