I really liked that there was a troubleshooting section at the end of the course, I am sure that I will use some of the suggestions mentioned here.
I know that 30-40 students does not seem like a very large class size, however, I feel that my biggest concern will be keeping the class engaged and focused in an orderly manner - as to not disturb neighboring classrooms that have more structured and linear lessons.
I really like the idea of group work, I feel that it is a tool I will utilize often – for vocalizing, role playing, student tutoring, etc. Also chorus repetition seems like a tool I might be utilizing frequently as well, it seems like a good way to get students to participate without the performance anxiety.
Overall, I feel that this course has given me an understanding of how language acquisition works and ways to make it fun.
