In this lesson, I learnt about the different types of teaching methods and the ESA method that is followed by TESL. Under the ESA method, I learnt different techniques for each part of the method, and the understanding that each class or lesson should start with engaging the student and end with activating the student. While we can mix the methods where necessary, each part is important to benefit both the student and the teacher. How to correct a student is also very important, as if one corrects too much, the student can lose motivation and interest in the class.
