English has 12 tenses altogether. We can divide them according to when they happen in time: present, past, or future. This unit focused on the present tense. There are three forms discussed in this unit- present simple, present continuous, and present perfect. Present continuous form is created by pairing the -omg verb form with a “be” verb. Each form can be used to when asking questions, as well as to make negative statements.
