This unit discusses the future test. There are seven forms of the future tense, which I did not know! I always thought that there were four, and the textbooks I use to teach English also only list four, so the other three ("going to infinitive", "simple present", "present continuous") were all new to me. I struggled the most with present simple, as the construction does not seem to lend itself to future, but it seems as though if part of the sentence includes time (by next June, in the summer, etc), then the verb structure should imply future. To be honest, this is still confusing, as the understanding of the sentence seems to come from the prepositional phrase instead of the verb structure. Either way, this unit definitely taught me more about the future tense then I was aware of.
