Reading and Listen skills are very important for learning vocabulary and understanding of words. In my opinion the best way to increase their vocabulary and understanding of words. It’s always best to pre- teach some vocabulary that might be a bit challenging. None Authentic Text gives learners more confidence in the language. Where authentic text is more for what student know, not what they don’t know.
The reading and listening material need to be selected for their learning ability or level. So the student is challenged a little but not too hard. Reading and Listen also build Comprehension skills. That are important for both pleasure and Information. For things such as How to do something, or what’s going on in the News of the day. Best to try to find things students are interested in or know a little bit about. So they will interact with a bigger understanding of the language.
