What makes an good teacher and which roles a good teacher will most likely use. Switching through the various roles such as being a manager ( Taking control of a lesson ) or being a participant ( Playing an equal role as the students ) etc.
In order to be a good teacher you need to love your teaching however we need to love your students learning even more.
What make an good student and which characteristics a good learner should have eg. Willingness to learn, listen and motivation. There are however many more factors to consider such as Age, Culture and Language level.
In order to be effective in your teaching you need to take the above into consideration as well as a good relationship with the students.
This unit has taught me that being a teacher is more than just teaching subject material as there are many factors that need to be considered when teaching and roles that need to played. Understanding your students culture and language levels aswell switching through roles depending on these elements would definately influence your teaching in a positive way.
