Topic:Coursebooks and lesson material
Course books are a very emotive issue for teachers(in quote).
In an ideal world schools would have all the books and
materials that you could need. The reality, however, is
somewhat different. This means that often the
teacher has to create his/her own materials to either
supplement the course book, or replace sections that
are not suitable for the class. For many students,
compared to the course book, materials created by the
teacher are more interesting, more relevant and a
welcome change from the course book.
These materials are divided into two
1) authentic materials
2)created materials
There are four options for course books use
1)omit
2) replace
3)suplement
4)adapt.
