In Unit 6, I have learnt past tenses which contain past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous, including the tense form, usage, typical student errors/mistakes and sample activate stage teaching ideas. We should understand and master that past simple means an action in progress at a specific time in the past; Past continuous means a completed past action; Past perfect means an action that was completed before a past time; Whilst past perfect continuous means an action that began in the past and continues up until the present time.
