This time I have found the video lesson to be more elaborate, than the text unit. Last cooking sentence example perfectly describes the difference between all four past fences without any further ado. It leads me to think about a class game, when a teacher will throw in sentence and students will randomly change its past form, hence twisting a meaning of the story. Also the past tenses are most commonly used in literature, that provides almost a limitless source of material to study. Just take your favourite book and analyze it through the prism of grammar. The good teacher should motivate students to read more, because reading not only opens the doors of imagination, but also the doors of literacy. The same way, comic books, for example, may be used for styling the present tenses. It is important that knowledge should go hand in hand with pleasure, and the source of knowledge, like interesting books, comics, movies or tv shows, should be generally appealing to the audience.
