Firstly, I learned about the different qualities and roles of a teacher. Each teacher has their own qualities and reasons to become a teacher. Some teachers are lively and entertaining, while some are great motivators. Being a good teacher is thinking if he or she is an effective teacher and also thinking about the students if they have learned from them. With the roles of a teacher, each activity has different strategies. The teacher just needs to act according to the activity. For example, if the activity needs the involvement of all the students, the teacher needs to become a manager and facilitator at the same time. Secondly, I learned about the differences between an adult and young learner. Each student has their own advantages and disadvantages. Also, motivation is an important factor for a student. Adult and young learners also differ with their reasons of motivation. Lastly, I learned about the language level of a student and how they differ from another. This can help the teachers to differentiate the level of their students and what approach they will use in teaching them.
