In unit 6, I learned about four different past tenses. Past simple is a verb tense used to describe completed actions in the past. Past continuous is a verb tense that is used to indicate an action that began in the past but is still ongoing in the present. Past perfect is a verb tense that is used to describe an action that occurred before another action in the past. Past perfect continuous is used to indicate that an action started in the past and continued up to another point in the past.
