The penultimate unit focuses on teaching special groups of learners. It defines different types of beginners and gives tips for their teaching. Then, it focuses on differences between teaching individual students and groups, be they children or adults. The unit provides numerous tips on how to approach the teaching of individuals, children, and also how to teach business English (what are the do’s and don’ts, how to do a “needs analysis” and “needs negotiations”), as well as what are the advantages and disadvantages of monolingual and multilingual classes.
