It is very important to pay attention to developing of receptive skills (reading, listening). The reasons for reading and listening may be divided into 2 categories: for entertainment and for a purpose. The main skills that are necessary for successful reading and listening include scanning, skimming, detecting, predictive and detailed information skills.
