This lesson overviews the importance of creating a lesson plan. It does so, connecting to previous parts of the book by showing the ESA form of creating a lesson plan. To an experienced teacher, much of this is reiteration of things we have learned on the job. However, there is value in understanding that not all lessons, and lesson plans need to be rigid. In fact, the book gives the best advice of keeping the plan simple, and being flexible with the time.
