Teaching pronunciation and phonology are quite difficult for Thai learners because there is a big different way of stress, rhythm and intonation between English and Thai. Thai learners are often confused that where do they need to stress in a word or a sentence. However, this unit gives me more understanding about International Phonemic Alphabet and the teaching techniques which I still need to expand my learning.
