Elkton, Washington TESOL Online & Teaching English Jobs
I have wanted this unit. Until now I have done my lesson plans in my own way. I have used grade level, Objective, study, activities, materials, and time. A vary basic simplified way in word.
The ESA way actually is helping me simplify how to make a more efficient lesson plan. My way really wasn't that much different. The ESA way is a bit more detailed. Another thing I like about this unit is the self-Evaluation form. I have never used one before. I just kept it in my head on how well the lesson went. Then I made reports on what students got out of the lesson. So this is new to me but, I love the Idea. I can see the benefits from using it to see what teachings work better than others.
To Me Lesson Plans are a record keeping of things that have been taught. Ensures My lesson do not get to repetitive. Also allows me to keep track of the objectives, studies, activities, materials covered and time used in each class. They are very important to me. Some of the classes I have done were only 30 minutes to one hour. The lesson plan helps me adjust my time for the teaching. With a 30 minute class time I just have enough time for an ESA straight Arrow lesson. Whereas a 1 hour class time is more flexible to do ESA Boomerang or Patch work lesson plans.
