I appreciated this lesson because it touches on items that I may or may not be able to use in the classroom. I think it is important for me, as a new teacher, to be able to adapt to my surroundings in order to teach effectively. Having an idea of how I would use these items will prepare me for my time as a teacher. Depending on what is available, I will have to made due with what I have in order to be the most successful. For example, if I have a white board, I will know exactly how to use it properly during a lesson and be able to plan for it. On the off chance that it isn't available, I could instead use paper, a projector, or a variety of other tools to still elicit the same information from the lesson.
