I found this lesson to be pretty interesting because I myself have been curious as to how my teaching experience will be concerning the use of a course book or not. Because I am new to this, I would hope that I would be able to use a course book as a guide, but I was already thinking of ways to incorporate found/created materials in order to make the lessons more exciting each day. I was intrigued that this lesson gave ideas on how to supplement or replace sections of a course book in order to make it more relevant to the students, while also using the book as a tool. That makes me more confident about my goals as a teacher.
