In this unit I learned about the different types of the present tense. I found this very challenging. One thing that I found interesting was that native English speakers can easily use these rules when they speak naturally, however looking into the specific rules can be confusing for a native speaker. I imagine this is a challenging concept to teacher to non native English speakers. This unit taught me that each type of present tense has its own rules about form and usage. It was interesting to see some of typicality student errors and try to reflect on why I thought they made those specific mistakes.
