From these two videos, we can see the attitude of the teacher can affect student performance. The first class teacher was rush and a little inpatient, students can’t understand the target language well and barely answer the teacher. Another part is how to elicit the target language, the first lesson teacher used very difficult words when he was explaining “have to” and “don’t have to”. Apparently, the second lesson teacher can use some examples and gap filling to let students understand about target language. The way to arrange activities are also important, the first lesson, students were confusing about the rule, so they can’t do it right, when the second lesson was using 2-3 student group practice, student was clear about the rule and teacher can easily monitor the class.
