Unit 2 is about parts of speech which is the classification of words according to what they are used in the sentences as well as according to the purpose that they serve in the sentence or according to the meaning that they bring to the sentence. Basically there are 8 main classification of words which can be further classified to other sub classifications. For example nouns can be further classified into countable and non countable nouns. Also a noun can function as a subject or an object in a given sentence. What I have noticed is that parts of speech can be easily confused. For example the gerund and present continuos tense. Practice can help decrease such a confusion in both the teacher and the learner.
