The videos provided by unit 10 gave examples of lecture sessions inside the classroom. In the first lesson, the teacher seemed uninterested in the class and started the class session without an Engage phase. In the first lesson, he did not introduce himself to the student, and did not seem to care about the students. In the first lesson, whenever a student gave an incorrect answer, the teacher often just stated that 'it's wrong' without giving an explanation. In the final activate stage of the lesson, the teacher split the class to two groups that competed against one another. The teacher did not keep score and show bias for one side, since apparently he liked them better.
In the second lesson, the teacher seemed to be more energetic, his gestures more inviting and friendly, he started the class by introducing himself and asked for the names of his students, he involved his students in the engage phase, and spoke in a clear manner. The atmosphere of the class in the second video was much better, which may help the students in the learning process. In the second video, the teacher also explained the usage of the words they were learning to the students. In the second video, the teacher did not pressure the students when giving them a small exercise. He also went around the class to check on students and see if they need any help.
