This unit was very information heavy, and would be useful for an academic or person who is interested in the science of sound production. I do, however, question its value in the education of an ESL teacher. We aren't teaching aliens how to speak our language, and the fact is that many languages share common phonetic similarities. In short, our mouths are constructed the same, and simply watching the way I speak would be far more useful for a student learning English, than understanding how the mouth makes certain sounds. While this is useful information to become acquainted with, I would not spend much time memorizing this unit.
