This unit discussed how to teach new vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. Key points in this section regarding new language is that students must be exposed to it, understand the meaning, understand how to construct sentences, and be able to produce the language through practice. Some language might be easier to teach than other language and this depends on factors such as: how similar is the new language to the student’s native language and already known english words, the spelling and pronunciation of the words, and relevancy.
