From my perspective, I have been able to review grammar and parts of speech in the English language. The parts presented for learning in this Unit 2 are many. First, these include types of nouns such as common, proper, compound, abstract, collective, countable and uncountable. Second, adjectives and their sentence order, comparative, superlative, and irregular comparative have been presented. Third, articles such as definite, indefinite, and zero articles were studied for learning. Fourth, verbs like transitive, intransitive, regular, irregular, and auxiliary were included. Fifth, types of adverbs were presented like manner, place, time, degree, frequency, comment/attitude, linking, viewpoint, adding/limiting. Sixth, gerunds were included in the unit. Seventh, types of pronouns like personal, possessive, reflexive, relative were listed. Eighth, prepositions/conjunctions types like time/date, movement, and place/position were shown. Overall, these eight categories of parts of speech in Unit 2 for this ITTT course gave a wonderful review for me to understand what the parts of speech are specifically in detail for the English Language.
