In this chapter, i learnt that intonation plays an important role besides pronunciation. Intonation of certain word such as 'Yes' will have different meaning when a listener listen to it. Intonation brings out the message we want the listener to know, be it in questioning, agreeing, confirming statements or showing emotions. In my opinion, the best and accurate way to learn the right pronunciation for English is through the International Phonetic Alphabets. Thus, we must master ourselves in the right pronunciation and intonation of words.
