This unit covered the teaching of pronunciation and phonology including intonation, stress, manner of articulation and the phonetic alphabet. While I found the phonetic alphabet to be more difficult, the studies on intonations and stresses are very clear and the teacher techniques insightful. The sample ESA class on phonology teaching was particularly helpful and gave me greater confidence in utilizing those skills in a classroom.
