Quintana, Texas TESOL Online & Teaching English Jobs
In this Unit I learned the basic use of present tense sentences. The present tense is broken down into four aspects: simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous. Present simple is the area where most students start learning grammar as it relates to habits, routines, actions, facts, directions, instructions etc. Present continuous mostly involves sentences which have the -ing attached to verbs. Perfect Continuous relates to sentences which have “have” or have not”. While Perfect Continuous relate to sentences with “have been”, “have not been”, and -ing attached to verbs. I found this to be a simple way to quickly categorise the different sentences into the 4 groups.
