Lesson planning can serve as a guide although the teacher should be flexible in their plan. Important aspects of a lesson plan are student learning outcomes, a personal goal for the teacher, the language point of the lesson, a list of activities organized in ESA phases, and the estimated time for each part of the lesson. Self-evaluations at the end of each lesson can help a teacher to improve and make classes more enjoyable.
