I like to dig into the different skills we will develop, its like seeing inside the mind of our students. I did't realize there were 4 basic skills in any language. It's a great tool in my tool box. I like how the 2 receptive skills, reading and listening, are both how we ingest knowledge. We receive the words and thoughts communicated. With productive skills, we are expressing our own thoughts or things we have learned thru speaking and writing. So interesting!! Also, great word to be sure to use a variety of resources and subjects so all students will be engaged at least sometimes.
