In this unit I learned about the Past Tenses and that the Past Perfect Continuous tense is not used very often but does serve an important role of talking about things in the past that had been going on continuously up to the past moment that we are thinking about and we don not know whether it continued after. There are many common verbs that have an irregular simple past form which I learned by being exposed to the English language as there are no rules to help with that. It was also easy to see the similarity between the Present Tense and the Past Tense as the only difference is one being in the present and the other in the past.
